White Bralette, Stradivarius // Lace Top, Forever 21 (SIMILAR) //  Asymmetric Maxi Skirt, Tobi (HERE) // Belt & Heels, Thrifted

Yesterday, I finally watched The Fault in Our Stars, and as expected from an overly emotional girl like myself, I cried a lot. Even when it was over, I still had something in my gut that made me wanted to scream and curse how unfair the world is. I get upset by cancer stories so easily, and I haven’t lost anyone close to me to cancer, thanks to God. Oh and I have to add that, although the movie was pretty great overall, it was nothing compared to the book; they’ve left out a lot of things and you can get the characters so much better when you read about them if you ask me.
I know this outfit is not particularly very clever for summer as I was caramelising during the photo-taking, but I can’t help myself and want to wear every lace piece that my wardrobe contains. Hope you’re having a great day, keep on smiling until the next time!

  • I still have to watch the movie but the book was so great, I loved it! That outfit is awesome, the skirt and your lace top look so good together! Maybe I’ll be in Istanbul in October, still not sure though :(

    • Take tissues with you, you’ll need it! And thanks a lot for your comment on the outfit Tanja :) Hope the trip will happen, it’d be wonderful!

  • Really love this maxi skirt, it’s so unique :)

  • Hi Eda! Sorry i haven’t dropped by in -i don’t even remember how long- you look amazing as always! Your legs looks miles long in that maxi!

And yes! I recently watched the movie too. Even though i can say that the movie isn’t my cup of tea, but it was pretty good. Although i agreed that the book is much better.

    Take care!! <3

    • Thanks a lot Aini, and no worries, I always love to hear from you (no matter how often!). I guess the books are often much better than the movies because you get to understand the characters and their stories better!
